3 Don’ts In Business

By Chris Stirling On February 27, 2008 No Comments

In business, like most things, there are certain things you should never do if you want to see success. Here is a list of the three big "don’t dos" when starting a home based business

The first big "don’t do" in business is DO NOT jump into a business without doing thorough research. You want to be sure you know all of the details about the business you are involved in. You want to know financial details as well as information about your competition. When you take the time to research a specific business you insure success for yourself. You wouldn’t want any surprises popping up when it comes to your business. You want to be able to set yourself up so that your business operates as smoothly as possible.

The second big "don’t do" is skimping on advertising. If your business is not advertising in one form or another there is a big chance that it will see a loss in services ordered or product sold. If you are starting a home business online you can’t just believe in the build it and they will come philosophy.  You need to be aggressive in your advertising to get the word out there, build brad awareness, and start creating loyal customers.  Taking out a small advertisement in the local newspaper is not going to generate much business. The business will be better off by running large pay per click campaigns and running banner advertinsing as well as marketing in the social media networks. These may cost more, but you will reach a larger customer base. Without reaching customers, the business will fail.

Finally, DO NOT take your eye off your competition. If your bsuiness has a specialized product or sevice then you definitely need to keep your competion’s actions close at hand. An offline example of this is would be video rental store. Video rental stores all sell the same things – videos.  So if you are in this market then you would want to be aware of what videos and titles the other store offers, how big their selection is, what their rates are, and what promotions they are running. In order to compete you want to either match what is offered or offer a slightly different, more compelling promotion.

If you make an effort to follow the above guidelines on what the three "don’t dos" in business are then you are on the path to success. Be sure not to jump into any business decisions without research and well thought out planning. Care for your business like you would your children. Give it what it needs to grow and you will be pleased with the end result.

If you are looking for a home based business to start but don’t know where to begin Stone Evans has done the research, created a easy to follow training program, complete with advertising assistance, and created a online business ready to go with 6 income streams.  He calls it the Plug In Profit System

3 Tips to Protect Yourself Against Work From Home Scams

By Chris Stirling On February 25, 2008 3 Comments

scams3.jpgAs everyone knows there are plenty of work from home scams on the internet. Here are 3 tips to help you avoid becoming a vistim of a scam artist.

1) Testimonials- Be sure the website offers testimonials of satisfied customers. If they don’t offer testimonials, there are no satisfied customers. At the same time read the testimonials to ensure they are not fake. You can spot a fake a mile away, they often say exactly the right right things, or how outlandish claims like "I made $10,000 in my first week with 1 hour of work". A true testimonial will often have smaller claims of success and be less polished.

2) Money-Back Guarantee- If the company does not offer a 100% money-back guarantee for at least 30 days or longer then there are red flags that shoudl go up. I would not trust giving them my money. The longer the guarantee the better. You can always use the guarantee to back you up if you need to make a complaint.

3) Not Enough Information- The website should be able to answer all your questions. If they can’t answer the most important questions, they may have something to hide. If the site does not have a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section then look for a contact information when you can ask your questions. I know they can’t tell you everything before you make your purchase but the important questions should be answered before you hand over your money

Keystrokes 4 Cash Review

By Chris Stirling On February 20, 2008 17 Comments

keystrokes4cash.jpg    One of the most popular ways to make money online has been in the data entry field. A relatively new program in this category is Keystrokes 4 Cash. With the rising number of work from home opportunities there is also a rise in scams so it’s important to take a look at what Keystrokes 4 Cash offers. This review will discuss the Keystrokes 4 Cash program and its advantages and disadvantages.

First we need to review the Keystrokes 4 Cash mission statement:

The Mission for Keystrokes 4 Cash is to provide a means for the average person to be financially free from perils of employment in the 21st century by providing proven systems for making consistent money online and thereby allowing them the personal freedom to enjoy life on their terms. We believe in honesty, integrity, and teamwork. Through these principles we strive to educate as many people as we can so that they have all the tools they need to achieve complete financial freedom.

This mission statement, like so many other mission statements in the corporate world, is a noble one, it’s just a matter of whether or not they actually can deliver what it claims to.

The claims made by Keystrokes 4 Cash are that it is entirely possible to make $250-$2250 per day, working only half an hour per day, with the techniques the program teaches. This may not sound like a lot of money when compared to some of the other offers out there. But when you add up $250 a day this can add up quickly after a whole month.

The next question we need to ask is what will you be doing to earn this $250/day? Well basically you will be typing up Pay Per Click (PPC) forms for companies that pay affiliate commissions. This means you need to learn how to type up an effective 2-3 line ad so that people will click on it, and sign up for the product you are advertising for. When the ad that you create generates a sale you earn a commission – usually around $23.

Here are some of the ADVANTAGES to working with Keystrokes 4 Cash:

  • You can work from home and make your own hours
  • All you need is a computer to get started
  • No prior experience necessary
  • One time fee of only $49 for training package
  • High income potential
  • 30 day 100% Money back guarantee

Some DISADVANTAGES to working with Keystrokes 4 Cash?

  • Even though it is possible, it is highly unlikely for most people that they will earn as much as $2250 per day as claimed on the website.
  • There is a slight learning curve. They claim it is easy money – and it is, but only once the system is learned and perfected. Like anything it takes time and effort in the beginning.

So when you step back and look at Keystrokes 4 Cash it is not really a “data entry” program it is more like an affiliate marketing program with another name – "data entry." I believe calling it data entry is a bit deceiving and can cause some frustration for people looking to be paid just to type and be paid on a per word basis, but this does not make Keystrokes 4 Cash a scam. At most they can be accused of slightly misleading advertising, but then so can 99% of all companies that are advertising (that is a topic for a different article).

In summary Keystrokes 4 Cash is a legitimate program where you can realistically earn $100 – $300 per day for the first few months until you master the techniques taught in the program,if you follow their system and learn how to complete PPC forms effectively, which is not very hard at all.
