3 Surfire And Fast Traffic Methods

By Chris Stirling On June 10, 2009 Under Internet Marketing

Traffic is one of the biggest hurdles any online marketer faces. But in reality, it’s almost absurd to think why…after all, there are more people out there using the internet than any marketer could ever need or wish to reach. In other words, there’s plenty of traffic to go round for all marketers 10x over, yet we still seem to get caught up on getting these people to our website.

Why? Well, the problem is that we often look in the wrong places or worse still, we look in the right places but don’t give out the “right invites” to encourage these people to visit our sites. If you’re confused, don’t be…because if you’re able to read this article then you have more than enough intelligence and skills to get traffic to your website on a daily basis…whether free or paid for.

Here are some of the most well established and effective methods for traffic generation…

Method 1 – Write Articles (free)

Just like the one you’re reading now. Articles are a great way to drive traffic to your websites day in and day out. Be warned though, it will take regular writing and submitting to keep the traffic levels up and you may need to write dozens of articles a week if this is going to be your only traffic source. The better your articles, the more traffic you’ll get long term, so you’ll need to strike a balance between quality and sheer volume.

Method 2 – PPC (pay per click)

Considering most traffic comes from search engine searches in places such as Google, it is a good idea to get in front of that traffic as much as possible, and particularly when they are searching using keywords that indicate that they are a perfect match for what you’re offering on your website. Now, PPC traffic takes care and attention, just like anything in business. But the beauty of PPC advertising is that you can reach extremely targeted people to present your offers to, without having to worry about trying to get your website found in the search engines naturally (which is one of the hardest and unreliable ways to get regular traffic).

Method 3 – Start blogging regularly (free)

Blogs may not be the most sales friendly platform due to their often awkward layouts and designs, but they sure do attract passive traffic when you work at it. Blogs come with so many technological add ons and features that it’s possible to attract traffic from other blogs, directly from search engines, blog networks and social bookmarking sites far more easily and fluently than you ever could with a traditional html web page. The problem with blogs is that they need the most affection, in terms of updating regularly with fresh content. The blog posts don’t always need to be really lengthy however, but they do need to focus on people’s interests and be interesting enough to read.

As you can see, there are many places to pull traffic from the web and these 3 methods are merely the tip of the iceberg. However, they are possibly some of the most powerful ways to attract targeted traffic literally within minutes of getting started. Sure, they all require work to get right, but it’s worth it in the long run.

If however you are like most people and cannot afford to spend all day and night getting traffic to your website, you may be interested in a service that does it all for you called Niches In A Box.

Not only does this well established service get you traffic, but they also give you fresh content to post to your blogs (52 blog posts to be precise) so you don’t have to worry about all that time consuming writing. Add to that a product you can sell, a full content rich website, training, a premade blog, tons of keywords…and that’s just the start. So if you haven’t got lots of time, money and all the required skills yet, then Niches In A Box might just be the solution you’re looking for.
