BlogRush Review
Internet Marketing master John Reese has just released a new, free viral blogging tool , which when added to your blog should help drive targeted traffic to your blog.
According to this Technorati report, there are 1.6 million blog posting per day and 175,000 new blogs created each day with over 50 million being tracked.
This is a huge and massively growing market that John's new blog tool called Blog Rush allows you to easily tap into.
BlogRush, is a blog sidebar widget that shows the titles of five other people’s blog posts, along with the name of the blog, changing every time the page is refreshed. Every time the widget is displayed on your site, the title of your latest blog post is shown on the widget on some other related blog, promoting your blog around the Internet.
It chooses the blogs to cross-promote your posts with based upon both the category that you chose for your blog to be in when you signed up to BlogRush and some kind of contextual algorithm so the links to your posts show up next to similar blog posts on other blogs so people are more likely to click on it.
Of course this also takes people away from your blog to other blogs, but the Blog Rush tool is designed to open in a new window when you click on one of the links so your viewer never actually leaves your blog. It will also help blog visitors in any niche find more information related to whatever they are reading about, sometimes finding that information by leaving other blogs to come to yours. Bottom line with this tool you will gain more visitors than you will lose as people are more likely to read the post they are on and then go to related posts on other blogs after. The only way to know for sure is to test.
Fortunately there are also reporting tools included for free so you can login and find out just how many new readers BlogRush is bringing you. If you look at the right side of this blog you will see that the BlogRush widget has been added to the sidebar.
When we first added it the site, the related posts were pretty far off. One was actually about Income Tax which is not what this blog is about. However, it was very new and as it builds traction, it will have more posts to pool from and the algorithm can be improved. In fact, as I write this post, there are much more relevant posts showing up.
Now, here’s the viral part:
Not only do you get your blog promoted when someone reads your blog, with one promotion of your blog per page view of your blog, but also, when you get someone to join BlogRush, every time they display it on their site you are credited again to show your last blog post on another site. This actually goes many levels deep, so everyone they refer credits you as well, and everyone those people refer credit you also, etc.
It’s kind of like a pyramid-scheme, but even if 175,000 new blogs weren’t being created every day, the people at the bottom of the pyramid still get credited for every time their posts are viewed, so it is win-win at all levels.
This tool is another example of why John Reese is brilliant at internet marketing. He has made this tool not only easy to use but easy to promote - making it more powerful for its users. First and foremost BlogRush is free and the entire sales page fits above the fold. The usefulness is so self-evident that the sales page is almost unnecessary.
Second, after you register, but before it gives you the code, it explains the viral aspect of it and uses a tell-a-friend script to let you start spreading the word so that you can begin creating your down-line right away. You’ll find yourself thinking of who the best people are to tell about it and filling in that form, so you can get great bogs in your down-line and get those credits.
Third, people can also sign up under you by clicking the “BlogRush” logo at the bottom of the widget in your blog. So curious readers can join with no sales pitch on your part and are added to your down-line.
Like everything John touches this new blog tool is going to spread like wildfire. Make sure you sign up today so you are at the top of the wave and not playing catch-up!
