Blogging Tips for Part Time Work at Home

By Chris Stirling On July 23, 2009 3 Comments

Are you looking for part time work at home blogging? Blogging is an excellent choice for a motivated and self-disciplined individual that loves writing. Have you ever written a blog just for fun? Do you keep a livejournal account or a MySpace blog? Then blogging may be the best part time work at home opportunity for you.

When you decide to get started blogging, finding work may be hard if you’re new to the business. Plenty of forums and programs out there offer a proven system for you to follow. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel on this one.

When you look into making an investment in your time and money by finding a blogging training program look for the following things:

1. Training from an experienced leader in the field.

We’ve all heard the claims about people making tons of money with the system that they set up blogging. Do some research and find out which ones are respected leaders in the field. Writing forums are one of the best places to go to find out unbiased opinions. Many affiliate marketers set up websites recommending the best programs that they’ve tried.

2. Avoid get-rich-quick schemes.

This should be a major red flag. Just like any job or business, you’ll have to work for it.

3. Methods for writing Internet content.

Just the love of writing alone won’t get you far in blogging. You need to find a worthy program that can get you up-to-date on the lingo and methods used in Internet Marketing (IM). A good article alone won’t get you what you need. You need to know the best ways to use keywords and have a general understanding of SEO to keep your prospects or clients coming back for more.

4. Referrals to legitimate part time work blogging.

These are hard to find. Let the experts show you the way.

Blogging: Legitimate Work at Home Opportunity or Fluff?

By Chris Stirling On July 21, 2009 3 Comments

Getting started in a legitimate work at home business is tough. There’s a lot to learn out there. No need to go through the endless trial and error because people like me can show you the ropes, and present the most legitimate work at home in an easy to find set up based on their own personal experience.

There are many different ways to try to start making money online, but just as many programs offer a lot of unfulfilled promises. I call this fluff. Have you ever looked at some of these get-rich-quick schemes that offer vague things like “thousands of dollars in days” or “instant money?” What do they really mean?

Many of these programs rely on people who are new to the business and have high hopes and dreams of making passive income. Don’t be fooled into thinking purchasing a program and filling in the blanks will bring you endless sums of money. It’s just not true. Just like any business in cyberspace, or brick and mortar operations, you have to invest time and money in learning the ropes.

I started out blogging. Most successful online companies are willing to get someone else to write their material for them. By writing blogs for other companies, you’ll learn the ropes of Web 2.0 properties and the best way to market yourself as an expert. When you decide to do your own blog about a product or service, find something you feel passionate about.

Blogging can present a series of informative articles or reviews. These first person accounts and experiences with certain products or services offer a trust factor that consumers are looking for.

Blogging is a legitimate work at home opportunity. Put your career on fast forward and find a program that already knows the ropes through proven modules and methods.

Can I Really Work from Home Blogging?

By Chris Stirling On July 19, 2009 2 Comments

Here’s the thing about work from home opportunities, you have to find what works best for you first. Then choose where you want to go with it. Are you a writer? Do you have a knack for graphic design? Do you have managerial experience? Are you highly motivated? Are you passionate about what you are doing?

These are all factors in the direction you decide to take when you decide to start a work from home business. Personally, I’ve been trying to find the most legitimate home based business opportunities since 2005. The most popular options are blogging, affiliate marketing, paid surveys, and Forex (foreign currency exchange).

I love Internet Marketing (IM), but my real passion is blogging. I love the creativity and flexibility it allows me. I can do my work anytime and anywhere. Blogging applies to several different fields.

You can start your own blog and couple it with affiliate marketing, Pay per Click (PPC), and Cost per Action (CPA). Blogging offers the opportunity to present your expert advice in any field you feel passionate about. This could be raising kids, engineering, health supplement, yoga, or anything, really.

Other ways to make money blogging include writing content for another website or content company. This method will help you get your foot in the door to becoming one of the tops in your field. As you write for other people, you’ll learn what works and what doesn’t before you spend a lot of time and money on your own website.

Successful blogging training programs offer up step-by-step secrets from the leading moneymakers in the field. Just like any work from home opportunity, you have to start with research and expert knowledge. A good blogging program puts your blogging career on fast forward.

How to Blog on Facebook

By Chris Stirling On July 2, 2009 1 Comment

Sites like Facebook and Twitter are the wave of the future. They combine social networking with an ability to drown out some of the clutter of the Internet. Both have grown spectacularly. So, much so that it’s not unusual to hear someone ask someone else “Are you on Facebook?” almost as a get to know yoUltimate Blogging Themeu type greeting. What’s so interesting about Facebook and Twitter is their similarity to blogs.

It’s obvious that Twitter is a sort of “micro-blog”. But did you know you can actually blog on Facebook? That’s right; you can combine the power and appeal of Facebook with the community building of blogging. Want to learn how? Let’s look at these steps.

The first thing you need to do is to open a Facebook account. If you don’t already have one, just go to www.facebook.com and start one. Once you have an account, open it up. You might want to take some time to familiarize yourself with Facebook. See how it works and check out the general functions. Once you do this, you’re ready to start blogging.

In order to start blogging on Facebook, you need to add the Blog It application. It’s easiest if you’ll just use the search engine on the top right corner to search for “Blog It”. The application you want will be at the top of the list. Click on the link for the application and follow the instructions. You’ll get to a part where it says you have to allow the program access to your information. Don’t worry about that, just click it.

At this point, you’re looking at a whole list of blog types. There’s Blogger, TypePad, Vox, Twitter, and both the self-hosted and WordPress hosted versions of WordPress. Choose the type of blog you want to link to your Facebook account. Once you finish with this, you’ll want to test your blog.

What’s so cool about linking your blog with Facebook is there’s a news feed that let’s others know you’ve created a blog. So, in effect youBlogging to the Bank‘re merging the power of Facebook with the power of blogging.

So, what can you do with this? You’ll have to experiment and see. It also has a lot to do with what your blog is about and how you use it.

Interestingly, you can also hook up your Facebook account with your Twitter account. Now, that’s a potent combination! Play around with different blogs, Twitter, and Facebook. These are new, unchartered waters, so you’ll have to see how to best use this. It’s going to be really powerful, though.
