How to Blog on Facebook

By Chris Stirling On July 2, 2009 3 Comments

Sites like Facebook and Twitter are the wave of the future. They combine social networking with an ability to drown out some of the clutter of the Internet. Both have grown spectacularly. So, much so that it’s not unusual to hear someone ask someone else “Are you on Facebook?” almost as a get to know yoUltimate Blogging Themeu type greeting. What’s so interesting about Facebook and Twitter is their similarity to blogs.

It’s obvious that Twitter is a sort of “micro-blog”. But did you know you can actually blog on Facebook? That’s right; you can combine the power and appeal of Facebook with the community building of blogging. Want to learn how? Let’s look at these steps.

The first thing you need to do is to open a Facebook account. If you don’t already have one, just go to www.facebook.com and start one. Once you have an account, open it up. You might want to take some time to familiarize yourself with Facebook. See how it works and check out the general functions. Once you do this, you’re ready to start blogging.

In order to start blogging on Facebook, you need to add the Blog It application. It’s easiest if you’ll just use the search engine on the top right corner to search for “Blog It”. The application you want will be at the top of the list. Click on the link for the application and follow the instructions. You’ll get to a part where it says you have to allow the program access to your information. Don’t worry about that, just click it.

At this point, you’re looking at a whole list of blog types. There’s Blogger, TypePad, Vox, Twitter, and both the self-hosted and WordPress hosted versions of WordPress. Choose the type of blog you want to link to your Facebook account. Once you finish with this, you’ll want to test your blog.

What’s so cool about linking your blog with Facebook is there’s a news feed that let’s others know you’ve created a blog. So, in effect youBlogging to the Bank‘re merging the power of Facebook with the power of blogging.

So, what can you do with this? You’ll have to experiment and see. It also has a lot to do with what your blog is about and how you use it.

Interestingly, you can also hook up your Facebook account with your Twitter account. Now, that’s a potent combination! Play around with different blogs, Twitter, and Facebook. These are new, unchartered waters, so you’ll have to see how to best use this. It’s going to be really powerful, though.

Facebook Payday Review

By Chris Stirling On June 1, 2008 2 Comments

The purpose of this post is to give a honest review of the new launch of “Facebook Payday” by Peter Koning.

I purchased the course on May 30 and have had time to take a look at the material in the course, and because of that, I want to give you my impressions.

As you can see on this blog there are there are countless ways and angles to make money online today….everything from gambling online to selling items on eBay or Amazon.

One of the newest areas to make money online is to harness the power of the social networking communities. There has been a lot written on Myspace and other social communities, and how to connect with people and promote your business, however, there has been little mention of Facebook…the monster of all social network communities…until now.

The Facebook numbers are awesome:

- More than 63 active users

- An average of 250,000 new registrations per day since Jan. 2007

- An average of 3% weekly growth since Jan. 2007

- Active users doubling every 6 months

These numbers are phenomenal, and for opportunists there is gold in those numbers. Think about this for a moment, if you reach only 0.1% of Facebook’s active members, you’ll be reaching 100,000 people. That’s almost an entire city of new people for you to meet. Not only that, these people are interconnected because of the relationships they’ve established on Facebook.

Peter Koning in Facebook Payday provides you with all the techniques that he has used to build up an enormous online business. For those who are open to social networking online, making money on Facebook can be very profitable to you. The Facebook Payday gives you all the monetizing application tools, relationship building strategies, as well as a full template and flowchart on different methods to promote your online or off-line business.

What You Get With “Facebook Payday”

1. Three Bonuses:

- Facebook Primer eBook with all the applications needed to monetize your Facebook profiles

- Facebook Social Ads eBook. Peter Koning bought the resale rights to this product and adds this as a bonus.

- 8 Interviews with Facebook pro’s – Fahad Maniar, Mari Smith, Mike Geary, Paul Renner, Ron Reed, Rhoberta Shaler, Steve Iser, and Beverly Trca-Kitchen.

- In addition, included is a Reed Floren lost interview.

** Interviews are available in adido or transcript format for you to download.

2. The main Facebook Payday eBook itself, which is 101 pages in length, and comes with an additional Facebook Payday Action Worksheet pdf.

This is not one of those shallow info. products that is a waste of time and money. Peter Koning leaves no stone unturned as he reveals all of his secrets and gems in making money on Facebook. Facebook Payday goes over:

A. Selling Products on Facebook

B. Affiliate Marketing on Facebook

C. Online Advertising on Facebook

D. Selling Services on Facebook

E. Build Your Own or Monetize Existing Applications

F. Investing

One of the best features in the Facebook Payday course are the extensive discussion on driving traffic to your profile and then ultimately to your product sites.  Peter also goes into detail on how you can use the  private messaging, walls, virtual gifts, discussion threads, and Facebook networks to drive people to your links, website or sales pages.  When you read this stuff you will see Facebook as much more than just a way to connect with your old high school friends!

This program is not just for those tht already have an existing online business (or offline), and are looking for ways to promote your business.  It is also for those with no experience making money online.  With Peter’s “call to action” steps you can harness the power of Facebook to drive an endless stream of customers with credit card ready in hand to your affiliate links. With over 63 million active members, do you think you can find a few customers?

If you want to get a “piece of the Facebook pie,” and want the best Facebook strategies, then I highly recommend Facebook Payday.

Facebook Payday

By Chris Stirling On May 30, 2008 No Comments

I’ll be honest with you…when it comes to Facebook I feel like a complete idiot, especially around my wife who love Facebook.

Yep, I have an account. I even get added as a friend maybe 5-6 times a day. At current count I have 312 “friends” But up until this week, I saw Facebook as mostly a time waster (for business, anyway).

Fun, yes. But nothing more.

Well, apparently I have been missing the boat… BIG time.

I have been around a while in the Internet Marketing niche and I tend to stick with my “tried and true” methods of building my list and making sales. You know how it is…don’t have time to learn new things, or maybe you just don’t think it’s possible…whatever.

But I have always known that there is something I need to look at when it comes to Facebook. It is after all pretty popular…

- Facebook is the 6th most popular website on the entire internet

- Facebook has over 68 million registered users

- Facebook has 200 thousand people joining …per day

That’s staggering! But it still meant very little to me. Largely because I didn’t have a clue how to harness that…how to tap into this large and growing community.

If you already know how to market on Facebook, then more power to you. You’re ahead of the game.

If you don’t, I have an awesome resource for you.

Peter Koning just released his new course called Facebook Payday. This course shows you step by step how to turn Facebook into your own stream of income.

I am confident you’re going to like this.

Facebook isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it’s going to continue to grow. It is also valid in many niches. Think of the reach …

Now that my eyes have been opened, you can bet I will be taking advantage of Peter’s resource to learn as much as I can about Facebook. I suggest you take a look for yourself and turn those hours you spend on Facebook into money making hours!
