Work From Home With Network Marketing

By Chris Stirling On September 30, 2007 No Comments

Even if you have just begun your search for a legitimate work from home business opportunity that you can really sink your teeth into, you have probably seen ads, gotten emails, or been asked to watch a presentation about a network marketing company that was offered as the answer to your search.

While MLMs have been around for decades with one of the most well-known and longest running being Amway, this business model has seemed to enjoy a resurgence of popularity as the interest in work from home opportunities has risen.

The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing

For many years, people have confused illegal pyramid games with legitimate businesses, mainly because both have a common element, of recruiting new people to participate in the endeavor. However, that is really the only commonality. Illegal pyramids are simple money games because there is actually product being exchanged for money, simply money moving through the pyramid structure. However, there are some of these games that exist that have a product that is massively overpriced in an attempt to disguise the illegal set up.

It is important to note that is a legitimate business model and there are many large and flourishing companies that use the networking approach to bring many innovative and high quality products into the market. Many of the products we see on the store shelves today were first introduced to via an MLM.

One of the biggest benefits of a networking business is that the structure allows you to leverage, or multiply, your efforts as you build your own organization. This means that as a networker, you are looking for other like-mined people who want to create a work from home business for themselves, and they become both a customer buying the product and part of your marketing team. As your team grows, you benefit from overrides, or commissions, from the work that everyone in your team is doing.

The Renegade Network Marketer

This type of structure can develop into very lucrative income, depending on the size of your team and how the specific compensation plan is set up, and the quality of the product being offered. While an MLM company can get off the ground with a generous pay-out plan and a poor quality product, the network marketing companies that last for many years and decades are those that feature unique, high-quality products.

For many year, a new network marketer was encouraged to make a list of all the people they could think of, even distant relative and remote acquaintances, and share the business and/or product with them. This gave networking quite a bad reputation, and because of the level of rejection people received it often lead to very low retention rates of new MLM distributors. Improved MLM training and use of network marketing lead lists has helped to change that reputation somewhat, although many "old school" networkers will still insist that the new network marketer they are training makes a long list of their friends whom they can pitch.

The internet has brought a fresh new aspect to network marketing, allowing people to request information about a home based business, which turns them into a network marketing lead. Many networkers then purchase lists of these leads so that they can talk to people who are looking for a business rather than focusing on pushing it on friends and family members.

Business Opportunity Lead Reality

By Chris Stirling On September 29, 2007 1 Comment

With the intense interest in home based business opportunities, network marketing, which is also known as MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is enjoying a surge in popularity. One of the fundamental ways that most network marketers use to build their businesses and find new people to recruit is through the user of business opportunity lead lists.

Business opportunity leads are also sometimes referred to as biz/op leads and what they are is a listing of people who are actively searching for a business opportunity that they can . These leads have at least a name and an email address, if they came from an internet source, or a name and phone number, and sometimes these leads will have complete information including name, email, phone and street address.

There are numerous companies that offer to sell you business opportunity lead lists of people they say are looking for businesses, and sometimes the person on the list is looking for just that very thing. However, many lead generation companies entice people to sign up, or opt-in, to their lists by offering high-dollar "freebies" in exchange for their personal information. The problem is that only after they have revealed their information do they find that they must "qualify" to receive the "free" offer, or must go through page after page after page of offers until they lose interest or get frustrated.

The dirty little secret is that the personal information that was entered in an effort to get their free item ends up being sold and if they happened to click a survey question in those may pages of offers that somehow, even remotely, related to a home based business, they landed on a biz/op lead list.

The good news is that not all business opportunity lead vendors operate in this underhanded way. On the internet you will find many links and advertisements and banners that take you to a page that talks about the benefits of home based businesses and gives you an opportunity to enter your contact details in order to receive more information about the work from home opportunity. People who respond to these kinds of advertisements can actually turn out to be valuable leads and potential partners in your new business.

The reality is that with anything that involves any type of sales, even the soft and friendly sales of your network marketing company, comes down to a numbers game. Business opportunity leads can result in finding a new person to join your business, but know that you will have to go through dozens of them to find the gem.

Imagine getting up in the morning, getting ready for work and simply walking into your home office to begin your work day. The freedom to take breaks when you want and not worry about going over your allotted lunch hour. For some this dream is a reality. It is not just for stay-at-home moms, either. Thanks to the internet, there is a growing need for outsourced work by companies or industries that are allowing telecommuting. Yuwie – Have you Heard of it?

By Chris Stirling On September 18, 2007 1 Comment
Are you on Myspace or Facebook?

Most people answer yes to this question – and for good reason they are a great way to keep in touch with friends and family.

And they are fun too

But there is a catch that you probably don’t even know about with both those sites.

Here is the catch – you do all the work and MySpace and Facebook make millions each month.

You see both those sites generate revenue from the advertisements that are all over each page. Each time you go to a new page a new ad pops up and then MySpace or Facebook get paid.

That doens’t seem fair does it. After all you are the one doing all the work.

Well there is a new site that actually pays you a percentage of that money. Don’t worry, just like the other sites there is never any cost to you.

This site is called Yuwie

Here is a great page on Yuwie with videos and information on how you can earn money by doing what you are already doing on those other sites.

Affiliate Marketing Network

By Chris Stirling On September 15, 2007 No Comments

A really terrific way of starting to make money on the internet is to join and affiliate marketing network. These affiliate networks make it possible for you to market many different products from a lot of different merchants, and the marketing of the products can be cheap, fun, and easy to do.

There are thousands upon thousands of affiliate programs available, and many of them are for an independent internet store, or for a single product. If you are a very active affiliate marketer, you could end up having hundreds of different affiliate accounts that you have to manage. The emails alone from that many affiliate accounts can be daunting. The advantage of working through an affiliate network is that you can represent many different merchants, and thousands of products, with just one affiliate account.

The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing

An affiliate marketing network basically functions as the middleman that brings together a collection of merchant sites and a large number of active affiliates who are wanting to promote the sites, making it a good win-win situation for both sides.

One of the other advantages to affiliates of participating in this type of marketing affiliate program is that the tracking is much easier on the affiliate. By logging into your affiliate network account, you can easily see all of the activity in your account, and most programs allow you to export your tracking information so that you can do data analysis in a spreadsheet program like Excel.

Many people don’t think carefully about the step of getting paid, even though it is the reason for being an active affiliate marketer. Virtually all affiliate programs, whether it is a program for an individual company or a large group, have a minimum amount you must earn in affiliate commissions before they will pay you. If you have 100 separate affiliate programs, all with different minimums, you could have hundreds or even thousands of dollars in commissions locked up because you don’t meet the minimum for all or most of these programs. If you are doing most of your affiliate promotions through centralized affiliate network, it will take much less effort to start receiving your affiliate commissions because they will add up to the minimum much more quickly.

The requirements for getting started as an affiliate are usually pretty simple. Some networks require you to have your own website, but some are satisfied if you have a blog or an email newsletter that you will use to promote their links. Of course, you need reliable email that you have some control over as far as filtering, so that you do receive important affiliate communications.

The Renegade Network Marketer

Some of the biggest affiliate networks are: Commission Junction, ClickBank, LinkShare, Direct Leads, and WebSponsors. Many people start with ClickBank because the percent of commissions is high compared to the others. However, some people prefer Commission Junction because their network includes many well-known sites, and some people feel that having banners from these well-know sites lend credibility to their own website.

If the work from home internet business segment is new to you, then another valuable benefit of starting your work from home efforts with an affiliate marketing network, is that they also have some very good material available to help you learn what it takes to be successful in affiliate marketing.

Who is Ann Sieg?

By Chris Stirling On June 10, 2007 9 Comments
Well, I’ve known about Ann for a while now. She is an ultra- successful network marketer who has taken the industry by storm over the past couple years (particularly online), building enormous multiple streams of income in a very short period of time.

But, more important to me… She has helped many of her students and associates do the same.

That’s what impresses me the most about Ann. It’s one thing to build a big group on your own. But to have the ability to distill what you do down to a teachable, duplicatable system is the mark of a true leader.

And Ann has done just that!

Just a couple weeks ago I had the good fortune to get a sneak peak at a program Ann has put together called “The Renegade Network Marketer” system. All I can say is WOW!

If you think her “7 Great Lies” report is going to change the industry… Just wait until she’s done putting the finishing touches on the “Renegade System”.

The days of building your names list, cold calling and “attacking” strangers at the mall are long gone. Ann’s new system is hands down the best Network Marketing education I’ve ever seen.

Make sure you take the time download and read “The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing“. There is no cost and I can promise you that it will dramatically change the way you look at this business FOREVER!
Even if you’ve already downloaded the free report, make sure you actually go back and read it in depth. You may discover you’ve been telling many of the “7 Great Lies” without even knowing it.
