This is an Herbalife "trail." After you request his information he sends you to OBS (Online Business Systems) It has the BBB in the top right corner and he tells you to look them up with the BBB. OBS has a fine file on BBB but at the bottom it says: "Advertising Review: Online Business Systems is a marketing tool designed to assist people in running a Herbalife based business …" So, this next site he sends you to (OBS) has a copy of a check with Tanya & Warren Davis. Put 2&2 together – search Tanya & Warren Davis Herbalife and you get: http://www.cashflowceo.com/90days/inner.php – look in the bottom right corner – Tanya and Warren. They help Herbalife people GENERATE LEADS.

So, how does Paul fit in this picture? He sends you to another page to spend $9.95 for S&H for a package from OBS. Who knows what it is. It’s some trick to teach you how to make money and Tanya & Warren Davis have tried it and have their testimonial on their page. "Paul" claims he will pay you back the $9.95. He has a GREAT way to market. He was very convincing but it follows all the same trails that all the others do. Nothing wrong with Herbalife. There are a lot of successful MLM’ers in America. Just thought you might want to know what I found on this. This could be about making money on marketing and advertising which is what his ad says. Do the search on the BBB and go down towards the bottom. Oh ya, Tanya and Warren Davis is too common of a name to see if they actually exist, but they are on the OBS site with their testimonial. You won’t get results by just searching their name, you will if you add herbalife to it.

Thanks for letting people know upfront what they getting into for $9.95.

I agree nothing against Herbalife, just not what I’m interested in or looking for.

This promotion might generate a ton of leads however how many will stick around for longer than 2 months?

Glad to be informed as to where this was headed. Not really interested in another MLM.

I’m really glad I checked the web before wasting my time with this program. MLM is hard enough to make money as it is without having to sell my integrity for a product line that, more likely than not, is nothing but snake oil. These seem to be the most popular product lines these days among MLM companies, because once you get a sucker convinced that they work, you get them coming back for refills of these dubious products.

Has anyone besides me noticed that this snake oil market seemed to really open up, along with the resurgence of chain letters, right around the time that Reagan unleashed his own brand of voodoo snake oil (deregulation, privatization, and globalization) on the suckers stupid enough to vote for him?

I used to be a member of Herbalife. It is a good company; very legit. Some times you have to watch the business practices of the people who are involved in a home business. Often it is not the company but the people themselves who give companies; like Herbalife, a bad name.

Thanks for reviewing this system and letting others online know what is really about. With some many programs claiming to make you money hitting your inbox it’s getting harder and harder to tell which offerings are legit.

Thank you so much for giving me this information…I was going to go through the process becasue it did looked different then any other work at home business. Now I will not go through the process because I do not want to have anything to do with herbalife.

I just signed up for it, then found this website and am now trying to cancel it. I hope they dont take the money. Is it likely they might take more than it says on site?

Actually, Herbalife is a great business opportunity. I would definitely join if I had some good selling skills. I like my current business opportunity and I am doing well.

I was a member of Herbalife for almost 4 years, but I discovered that I had a lot to learn and was not ready for this opportunity. I can say that I learned a lot from Herbalife and the things I learned, I have applied to my current business opportunity and it has helped me.

I have grown a lot since leaving Herbalife. Why now and not while I was a member of Herbalife? That is hard to say. Robert Kiyosaki, who wrote “Rich Dad Poor Dad” says that often one has to fail their first business before they find success in a business.

Although Robert made a lot of money with his first business, he ended up losing it and it left him broke. But, with failure comes a good opportunity to learn and grow. Sometimes pain is a good mechanism that teaches us what we are doing one. It is good to pay attention when things do go right and review what we did wrong.

Thank you for letting me share….

Lawren – well said. Thank you for sharing your story

I am a big fan of Robert and the Rich Dad Poor Dad. In fact after I read his books I jumped into the internet and gave it a shot. I have made some mistakes along the way, lost some money, actually a lot of money, but learned along the way. I am now in a far better place than I was before I started because I failed and learned from my failures.

I encourage others to do the same – you will be amazed at what you accomplish when you just go and do it.

Lawren Smith

June 3, 2008

Thank you Chris. I too have failed often. But when I fail, I also reflect on what I did that caused me to fail. I do this so that I don’t repeat the same wrong steps.

Instead, I review, learn from my experiences and move forward, only this time, I eliminate the wrong steps and replace it with the right steps.

This is what I mean when I say that skills and experience are key to success. The skills I am referring to are sales, marketing, and communication skills, to name a few. You will only attain these skills through experience. Through experience, you will achieve failure and success along the way, but the outcome from your experiences are growth in you abilities and knowledge. If you continue on this path of learning from your mistakes and failures and improving your skills and knowledge, you will ultimately achieve success.

well said Lawren

One of my favourite quotes is “the fastest way to succeed is to fail fast”

This is so true as long as you learn why you failed and don’t repeat the reasons.

woooowwww…. I’m glad i looked up the name. I thought everything seemed too good to be true. I’m broke, without a job, looking online for a job cuase I can’t afford childcare for my baby and can’t take her to fillout applications, while meantime, wife working and 8 months pregnant ready to burst. I’M desperate for a job right now, and than I saw this site. First that guy says there is no obligation to me, I dont have to pay anything. Than says i have to pay, but he pay back. So, I doubted, though he said act now, or time runs out. I bet that clock appeared for everyone when they first opened his page to pressure those doubting into making the decision. Again, I’m glad i found the consumer info on it online. Get internets has its GOODS and its BADS. back to my job search.
Damn….

Thanks again,
Dman

MLM is all basically scam. I say this from experience. MLM runs on the principal of “get as many schmoes in under you as you can…make THEM work and you take all the credit..and 99% of the money”.
Some when it all stops …and they all do eventually…will get totally screwed out of there “investment” just to make the few schiesters at the top rich.
there was a man named Ponzi that this “biz model” was named after.

the best MLM is the one every one knows to stay the hell away from!

MLM is NOT a system you bring your “friends, inlaws and outlaws” into.

Simply stated; Multi Level Marketing is based on luring in people with the excitement of “opportunity” and doing your best to GET THEM TO BUY PRODUCT. A very small percentage have the energy or willingness to go door-to-door selling whatever product the MLM is pushing. Their “sponsor” (you) has an objective to motivate these people into sponsoring other people into “Their OWN business”, when in reality, it only increases the PV (Product Value)of the initial sponsor, and trickles down to the actual seller of the product. In the long run, people drop off out of frustration, or figuring out the scam-o-rama. The customers and/or their PV goes then to their initial sponsor who profits even more.

It’s a pyramid scheme. Why do you thing Amway changed it’s name in the USA To Quixtar? Bad reputation is the answer.

Thanks for the info, like everyone else I saw the Partner with Paul video and was taken in, supposed to be the “one” you can finally make money with. Just another mlm, like melaluka and others the guy at the top makes all the money, and your friends and relatives start avoiding you. Pat

Thanks a lot for this website…I almost bought the kit! It was funny because I knew it was Herbalife.. (Listed on the NY stock exchange, been in business for 25 years, and made billions in 05)- it sounded like my customer prospecting script that I use to use. hehe.I love Herbalife- lost 20 pounds with their products. However, I was a distributor (supervior) for two years and I gotta tell you “I hate being a salesman!”…
Thanks for the heads up!

I guess everyone has their own opinion.

What I have discovered is that anyone can make money with MLM or Network Marketing, Its just that the same numbers keep popping up.
5% make money
95%fail

The reason being is that almost everyone I talk to is to lazy to make the commitment, I guess that human nature. Also, the other thing is that MLM and Network Marketing is all about knowing how to market and grow a business, Hence why Kiyosaki says many have to fail before they succeed. BECAUSE THEY NEED TO LEARN. I found the similarity between the top 5% of IQ’s were that that type of personality were the type who would jump off a cliff and invent a parachute on the way down.

Why do 95% fail at everything, very simple, they are unwilling to take risk, and leave their comfort zone that has them in the exact situation they are in!

You would be surprised at how many people are willing to help you online. But guess what, it cost money. So, save your money and be just as broke in 30 years from now, or live the american dream, spend it all, learn something and be part of the 5% who make rich !

If you ask me, those are good odds. But I agree, MLM sucks, but as for sales, I hate being a salesperson, So I decided to be a closer !!!

As Chris says above “One of my favourite quotes is “the fastest way to succeed is to fail fast”. This is so true as long as you learn why you failed and don’t repeat the reasons.” Great advice, IMO.

My experience is that people do not plan to fail they just fail to plan. The diet plan business makes a relatively small number of people’s wallets excessively fat!

My first clue that this is not up front was when it stated that “Tanya and Warren Davis and daughter” lived in Edson Alberta. What a coincidence that is where I am. My friend in Ontario did the same search I did, and guess what? Tanya and Warren Davis and their daughter live in the same town in Ontario as my friend. I call bullshit!!
