Rebate Processor Jobs Review

By Chris Stirling On October 1, 2007 Under Product Reviews, Work At Home

There is a new work at home make money online program that has hit the market.  The basic concept of this program is they pay you to process rebates.  It sounds like a great deal doesn’t it, you can process rebates at home and earn $15.00 for each one that you complete. Although this does sound interesting it is not the complete picture.

If you go to the website of one of these new companies they make it seem like all you are doing is filling out forms when people ask for a refund.  Once the refund is done they will send you a payment of at least $15.  The reality is not quite like that.

Rebate processing is affiliate work. Companies like RebateProcessorJobs.com are not hiring you to work for them and then paying you by the piece.  What they do is teach you how to find products that you can sell online.  They then teach you how to write ads to sell these products – in your ad you will offer a “rebate” when someone buys the product.  Usually the rebate is for $8 on a $49 product.  When that product sells you usually receive a $23 commission minus the $8 rebate you offer making you $15.

So in reality the new are not really what they say they are – but they are a creative way to market products online.  Often these products have many people selling them so a creative ad like “I’ll give you $8 to buy this product” will cut through the clutter.

The training they provide is good if you have no experience selling or making money online.  The members website is solid and it posts many great free sites that allow you to post your ads for free – so you can make money with this program by not spending anything more than the small fee for access to the training and members area.  For those that have a mid level of experience online there is no need for you to join these programs, as there is not much new information.

Rebate Processing jobs are a legitimate method to make money online – it is unfortunate that they are not 100% clear on how the program works on their website until after you pay the small fee for the training.

Still sounds like a scam to me. Just like the ones where you get $5 to stuff an envelope – after you pay $50 for the course – but what they don’t tell you is that you run the ads.

Its all deceptive and misleading.

stirls

November 14, 2007

Matt – thanks for your comment. I agree that the message that the rebate processor uses is a bit deceptive in the sense that you are not just processing rebates, you actually have to sell an item and then give a rebate.

I disagree that this is a scam because a scam is when someone takes your money and gives you nothing in return. This program does have a one time fee but in return they provide a high level of training to help you succeed. So the one time fee is comparable to purchasing a textbook in school or a “how to” book in a book store. What you do with the information in the book is up to you.

James

November 21, 2007

I disagree! It is a scam because it is misleading….It leads you to believe that you will be processing rebates from home! That’s it.

A definition for scam is A ploy by a shyster to raise money. A definition for ploy is An action calculated to frustrate an opponent or gain an advantage indirectly or deviously. A definition of shyster is a person (especially a lawyer or politician) who uses unscrupulous or unethical methods. You can look these up on the web. So is this a scam? I’d say it is a ploy because it trys to gain an advantage indirectly. The shyster part, well I would call this a deceptive ad and unethical in business. By definition it seems to be considered a scam. James is definatly more right than stirls. Lets be clear. The ad is considered a scam. The program is real. You do get training and you can make money. We can be against this type of ad but with just a little research on the web I got the whole story. I wondered if you send a bulk email asking for $1.00 to help you with a worthy cause like sending your kid to college, if you would get responses. One of these places is asking for almost $200.00 making people believe they’ll make money with almost no effort. I’m fairly sure the majority of them that pay never do anything with it. I wonder if they really do get their money back from the garentee? That’s probably misleading also. I’m sure this is a way for the person or persons putting out the ad to make money. Do they really care if the customer makes money? If I do something that’s not misleading would I make as much money? If it’s all about making money they’ve come up with a new way to make them selves money. Good job. Perhaps rather than processing rebates we should be putting scams out on the internet. Who teaches that? How about we put out an ad saying we’ll teach you how to place scams on the internet to make a lot of money fast if you send us $200 for this very valuable package. If you can be as creative as those guys at being misleading on the ad it would work. There you have it. Another new way to make money from home. Would that be considered a scam. I guess so but if you have a couple hundred thousand in your pocket would you loose sleep?

What people need to do to find out if the online jobs they want to do are legitimate or not is to see if they have the BBB Seal on them if it doesnt commom since will tell you its not legitimate. So next time look for the seal.

Mary

December 29, 2007

The thing about the BBB seal is that some people actually “paste” that seal on their websites. If you hover your mouse over it and it doesn’t work as an actual link to the BBB, then it’s not real. I’ve had to check a lot of places like that, and believe me…the seal was there but it didn’t actually function. They want you to see it there so that you will believe them, but they don’t want you to check it out. So, even if the seal is there, take the time to verify for yourself.

Thank you for the information this has helped me alot in my decision on who to purchase this program from, if I go ahead and choose to do it.

Charlene

January 4, 2008

I was about to invest that (almost $200), but even click bank is suggesting that you google for more information on this product as they have had an over whelming amount of calls asking for refunds on their purchase. It sounded so good, and just what I was looking for. As always, if it sounds too good to be true…
Has anyone got any information on an Angel Stevens? She is one of those people asking for $197 to become a certified rebate processor.

jenni

January 4, 2008

glad i found your blog. i saw the site offering the package for almost $200 and was interested. i decided to do a little more research and found another company offering the same thing for only $40(limited time offer of course). dug a little deeper and found you. thanks, i don’t have the time or money to waste on a scam like this. keep up the great work

Concerned Citizen

January 6, 2008

Thanks for the tip, this is most certainly a scam. If it wasn’t a scam they would say exactly what you are doing instead of having to market it with a bunch of half truths. I know we live in a time of where getting money anyway you can legally, while not ethically, is considered a job well done, but give me a break.

This company is deceptive from the start, this is like saying “Get paid $60/hour to literally sit around/sleep and play games with your friends!” Then when you take the job they say “OK, so you signed up to be a Fire Fighter, we’ll give you great training on how to be one so that you can make your $60/hour…Lesson #1 Jumping into a burning building and risking your life to save total strangers.”

They could give the best training in the world, it still doesn’t change the fact that they intentionally left out the most relevant part of the job and are making it seem as though rebate processing is the job when really it is internet sales that involve rebate processing only after you personally make a sale. It is disgraceful, if anyone knows the state that this company is run from, please email me, I’d love to report them to their state attorney general for them to be investigated.

Melissa Knight

January 7, 2008

I think the problem with these scams or ploys or whatever, is that they lure people who are down on their luck. They don’t bother to mention that you will only make money if you sell, nor do they mention that it may take a long time to actually sell something. Not to mention hidden costs. Are there any? While Adword campaigns are good in theory, unless you know the words and have the money to sink in, you won’t make any money. It just makes it more frustrating for people who are trying to make a living honestly working for a company without commuting.

BP

January 7, 2008

So. I’ve been checking out these rebate processing jobs for a few days now. Yea, when you’re reading the sites, it sounds great, but isn’t that the point? If they told you at the start , “Hey, come to my page full of misleading information, pay me $197, and you could get rich!” would you go? They already told you they were misleading you. I was sucked in, I admit it. But, I don’t have this kind of money to throw out frivolously. So, I e-mailed them. GOtta love those “Contact Us” links. I told them my story, (since they already had me read theirs) and agreed to pay them their exorbitant fee. That is, of course, once they give me full access to their site first, and then, in addition, it must turn out to be real, and I must make the money like they say on the page that I will. If it works, then I’ll have no problem paying them. Waddya think they’ll say? I don’t hardly think so. *sighs* What a wonderful world of public lies….

Timothy W. Crane

January 8, 2008

I got an advert (spam) for a rebate “center” in my ebox, and as usual I check things out by “description of offer = word scam” in Google. I found out what this was all about without having to go to the website. I now know that I can do this for free, without even needing the program. I do this exact thing for a living right now, though in a different fashion. It is too bad that people feel they have to deceive others in order to get participation. The technique itself is not a scam, it is the same thing grocery store owners to car dealers have been doing for years, it is called rebat pricing, a form of discounting as an incentive to buy. I pay people to go to incentive websites for me to help me fullfill my referral requirements for rewards and prizes, a twist on the same concept, but I never have to decieve the paople I work with in order to get them to do it, I just pay them what I say I will pay them, and it turns out just fine. There is no need for the pozie scheme. I just know that if a company feels they have to lie to me in order to get me to do legitimate work, then I might do it, but not for them. I encourage people to do this, it seems like a great idea, but you don’t need a company to do it, just offer half of your affiliate commision in order to get people to buy form YOU, and not the other guy. Incentive based affiliate sites have been doing this for years, and make enough money to actually pay out the prizes they say they do, enough so that I can pay half of this prize amount to other prople just to help me get the prize.

As for the BBB, I can surely tell you that while it may make you feel a little better to see that seal, it really only means that the company has paid their dues, and hasn’t been caught up in so many wrong doings that the BBB no longer wants their money. I was a telemarketer for several years, and they all belonged to the BBB, but you would not believe some of the things that went on in those boiler rooms.

Best of luck for all who are looking for honest profits onlie. It is usually right there between the lines, honest work offered to you by dishonest companies. It is the same as offline.

Thanks for listening.

I have used an online business that had the seal of the BBB and still was scammed. It was not at all what they said that they were. I am still fighting them today to quit taking money from my checking account. And I have even turned them in to the BBB for it but their still up and running. So the BBB symbol does not always mean that they are legit.

I am so glad I found this page even if it is dated last year! I almost got caught up in something for a $150.00 fee from an email ad. I Have had my eyes open cause of what I had had just read. I believe in seeking and searching. But, most favorably, I do not have the $39.00 nor the $150.00 to just hand over to people who is kind of only thinking of themselves making money online. Poor slugs such as you and I presuming you all need money for things like myself, surgery, or getting you car fixed cause someone hit and run you, and you have to pluck out $500.00 cash when your spouse is only making $8.00 an hr. People kind of prey on people who seem a bit desperate to make just a little extra to get by. Thank you all! Now I have an idea how all this work.. I myself would like to get ahold of companies, and dicker with them about hireing me to do this rather then going through all the hassel of a web site and trying to sell something! This way their article is already out there promoting ther items consumers have bought. Follow me? to me this is more legit then what is appearing to be playful inticing words to get you committed. The ones i have checked into, DOES NOT Guaratee back no money refund if your not happy with it. So folks i learned something today!

Finally… A clear and sensible answer for the question about the Rebate Processor Jobs. Don’t trust BBB either. Who do you think keeps them alive! A company has to pay them to be listed and to use the seal. They aren’t a great guide to good service. Check http://www.ripoffreport.com and GOOGLE like I did.

I received two emails from Rebateprocessorjobs.com which I did not open. However, I was curious and went to their website. It sounded too good to be true. I found your website and want to thank you for giving more detail. Keep up the good work.

I don’t feel I should have to pay a company to work for them. Employment is when YOU get paid from the employer. I did this work in my area for years as a home contractor and NEVER had to pay a fee. They paid me.

January 21, 2008

This thing is an out right scam!! I knew it sound to good, so i did a search. I am glad that people like you put this up to tell us. thank you. They tell people on the website that they have 2,000 companys that you can sign up with to do rebates… Not place ads with rebates.. She said she has been doing this for years working for companys doing rebates and get 15 each. Thats total B.S its just like all the other scams out there.

What is the BBB seal. I was online today looking for at home work and came to the rebate processing and after looking at a few differnt ones came across this website. Is all of the rebate processing a scam???? Why would there be so many diff websites if it was?

Kristi

January 22, 2008

I agree with Mark and James – If it doesn’t “TELL IT LIKE IT IS” UP FRONT, Popular Opinion makes it a SCAM. Deception in any form makes it a SCAM. Just because you can use the “lemons to make lemonade” doesn’t mean it’s not a scam. They’re not selling me what I paid for. If it’s so great why don’t they just tell the truth? They are basically TRICKING you into paying them for something other than what you think you are paying for. I like to know what I am buying BEFORE I buy it. A LIE = A SCAM.

Also looking for the BBB symbol doesn’t really guarantee anything. They can only tell you about and take complaints about paid members. It’s basically a club that anyone can pay to join. A Scam company could join today (or just put a fake seal on it!)and by the time someone complains they’ve scammed thousands of people for thousands of dollars never to be heard of again. On the other hand, just because someone isn’t a member of the BBB doesn’t mean they aren’t a good and legitimate business!

Dumbledore

January 23, 2008

The opportunity to earn an income may be legitimate. However, that does not matter because the advertisements present the opportunity in a manner that totally misleads the reader. If these advertisements were printed in a newspaper, the company placing the ads could be sued for false advertising and there is a possibility that that recourse may exist for anyone swayed to take action by the rebate processor job web sites.

Dumbledore

January 23, 2008

Looking back, the way the opportunity is presented looks quite a bit like the old “bait and switch” scam, where a storeadvertises a product, then when you show up the store has run out of a product but will gladly substitute a different product for that advertised. The difference is that with the Rebate Processor Job scam you do not find out that the product is different until you have allready paid the price.

James

January 25, 2008

There should be no fee if you are doing a job for a company. I have see from one website fees runing from $80 to $195 for the so called rebate processor job. What a scam. I don’t know if there are any real on line jobs out there that are not misleading or scams. From my research I have yet to find job that was not misleading and costing you money..It’s all a scam!

Jay

January 27, 2008

still i find the the main ’scam’ of it is that its totally misleading and affiliate advertising is nowhere near as easy as it seems. I found a review of process at home here http://www.reviewopedia.com/process-at-home.htm and tells you they dont really even give you any good affiliate marketing techniques either.

Teresa

January 29, 2008

Yes, i have gotten several things from Angel Stevens. And it just sounds to good to be true to me. They shouls so it were you sign up and you must stay employeed for 90 days to make sure that you are making money, Then after 90 days they can have there $197.00 for the one time sign up. Just think of all the money she is making for the fee she is charging. It is a lot!!

January 29, 2008

The idea of checking with the BBB seems like a good idea, and I’m sure is better than not looking at all. However, all they are is a place for you to complain to, they do nothing to help you settle any disputes. In fact, as long as the company you do post a complaint about gives an “excuse” with no proof, you are required to show proof that they are not telling the truth, otherwise the complaint doesn’t even go on thier record. This happened to me. (Do do SMC!)

Timothy, my good man, where the heck are these sites? I have been looking for something to supplement my income and everthing I have researched usually ends up “not being” what is seems. …Also, everyone else, please hear my cry! NEED AT HOME WORK! What kills me about these sites is the ever infamous, “I have to charge you this amount in order to pay my staff,” like they are not getting paid! If I had close to 20 people (guesstimation) sending me close to $200 a day, my pockets would be pretty “bulgy” too! I must say, in my quest for at home work, I have learned a lot! But so many “con artists” (call them what they are) have tainted the waters, it’s crazy what you have to go through to find something honest. My husband has even become leary; he even saw a report on one of the major morning shows exposing some work-at-home programs. Sorry message so long, love the blog, Be Blessed!

Comment by “Concerned Citizen” of 01/06/08 says it well. If you look carefully at the Angel Stevens offer )processrebates @ home.com)-you will note they operate out of Nicosia, Cyprus.
They also tell you there are only a “few openings left”, and the offer will expire in “minutes” – but it is there the next day. If you combine this with their not being straightforward about the task, most people would be well advised to “stay away” even if a few souls make a few bucks – I wish them well.
This is all part of “free speech” and internet technology – reminds me of the Desiderata plaque – “exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery” as long as it doesn’t blind you the virtues that exist.

Was so excited thinking this is just what I need to get ahead. Was all set to give away my hard earned money. So, so glad that I decided to Google “Angel Stevens” first. No one I know wants to get taken advantage of, and certainly no one has $197 to just give away. I’m disappointed to find out that this is just some more crap, but happy to know that I didn’t fall in the crap hole — minus my $197. If anyone knows of a legitimate work-from-home opportunity, please share it with me. Thanks.

Payton – I am glad you Googled “Angel Steven” before you gave her your $197 too. Just for the record the program reviewed in this review RebateProcessorJobs.com IS NOT OWNED or run by Angel Stevens. Angel Stevens is a SCAM and you should delete any emails you recieve from her and DO NOT Give Her Any Money!

RebateProcessorJobs.com is owned and run by Cindy Dalton and she is legitimate.

I am so glad i found this blog…I have been receiving multiple home business opportunities through e-mail of late and i’ve litrally gone over their pay schemes over and over again, and the way the business works… i have even interacted with a few sponsors and asked them questions in abundance, but no one seems to come outright and tell you that once you invest a certain amount of $$$, you will also need to set aside some additional $$$ for advertising your product each MONTH and also pay the monthly admin fee for hosting your website…Fortunately, I came across a genuine INSIDER from one of the schemes who outright explains that HOW its ALL BS AND HYPE…bottomline is, when you get into the business, you have to treat it as a business, and become a student of online marketing…learn the techinques and than eventually start earning well…I was so happy that i came across the guy…He has written out as well as provided an audio of telling you exactly what to expect once you enter the particular business…

Lets face it folks, you can’t earn money WITHOUT HARD WORK…

I just received the process rebates at home scheme on e-mail…and boy did i come close to signing up with it…i agree wid da majority that it’s certainly misleading…and all those BS TESTIMONIALS…i bet those ppl are trained to say shit just to get others on board and make a fool out of them further…

Why can’t there be genuine HONESTY, is that how shallow mankind can sink to mislead ppl to think they can start earning big $$$ within minutes…seriously if you’re gona do that at least lay out the hardcore facts which an insider did for me and was willing to provide one on one help to build the business…he even said that he came across a certain member in the business who told him to just make up the money he’s making…how fcuked up is that?

and the funny thing is, Angel Stevens says that she was broke and almost on the streets…i seriously doubt her honesty and integrity thats full of BS…ya she offers you the money back guarantee, but why waste time doing something that mislead you from the outset!!!

anyhow, im glad i listened to my sixth sense and checked on google and came across this blog before i made the same mistake others have…thx a ton guys!

Lilly – there are plenty of opportunities that are not scams. If you are willing to put in time and effort then the sky is the limit. If you are looking for a get rich quick scheme then you will be dissapointed and more likley to find a scam. Look at opportunities online like growing a business, it takes time to learn, execute what you learn and build your business.

It is a scam when you tell people they will receive $15.00 for each rebate they process, when in reality the the whole process involve advertising and selling other peoples product and then receiving a $15 commission. In what ever sense or way you define the word scame, it will exclude this manner of markerting your product from scam. I’m just glade for the managers of this web site that have taken time to expose this evile. If I eventually decide to buy this programme, I will not buy from liers. the sites http://www.quickinfo247.com/….or http://www.moreinfo247.com/…are all scam;I have tried it is free to join but it is realy scam. They promised a lot, you first become an affiliate(get your website, ad texts, banners, how to marketing ….) and you have to become EA in next 30 days otherwise you are not going to get any income. To become EA you have to have each month SVP 10.So you have to post your free website and attract more people to join, for each who joins you get 1SVP or you join to some programs that you pay $29.90 or $49.90 each month and you have 10SVP or you have to sell products.I have tried and canceled and wouldn’t recomand to anybody.

I think one of the things everyone should look at when doing any kind of business online. Is someone trying to market to you or are they introducing you to a marketing opportunity? Most of the loopholes and misleading claims are immediately evident when all offers are looked at in this light. How does a business benefit from your participation? Do I make my money off of a product or service and its transfer, and if so, to whom?

This is simply an affiliate program with a fee. Usually never a good idea. Why they even made it so complicated is beyond me, all it did was confuse and peave a lot of people who might have made great business partners, and discredit their trustworthiness.

February 19, 2008

For a mere $17.00, I will collect all the information you can provide on these bastards who ripped you off and I will do some Due Diligence with the banking entities to track down these people and then based on this information, I will write a letter and send an email for you to the appropriate state attorney. As you have already been taken for potentially 100s of dollars, $17.00 will seem as nothing to have the satisfaction of seeing these scam artist brought to justice!!

I will send both a type-written physical letter, as well as an email copy of the physical letter to the appropriate S.A. Then I will confirm the mail and email to you and copy you via email, or physical mail.

Your own personal phone number and mailing address will be used in the letter to the State Attorney so that if their office needs to contact you for further information, or for you to appear in court to testify, you will be able to be contacted directly by any legal agencies.

If you wish to avail yourself of my services, I can be contacted at evath@yahoo.com.

In the subject line, please type in: STATE’S ATTORNEY LETTER NEEDED.

Thanks.

P.S. This is not another scam. I am just a single-mom who needs to work-from-home and was doing her due diligence about this rebate from home business and saw that perhaps there is a need for what I’m offering here. This was a better way to work from home, better this to fall prey to these scam artists, I can make a living by helping others who already have.

I have to say that I tried one of these programs, and while the information they are selling is good for someone who doesn’t have a clue as to what they are doing, it isn’t really that good. A well placed internet search will net you the same amount info. If it’s affiliate programs you’re interested in, search for that, and there are several affiliate companies out there that market for other reputable companies, for example, Commission Junction. You can also hawk products for Paydot.com. You get on free safelists and advertise. There are also companies who are hiring digital transcriptionists, if you have the proper equipment. The information is really out there you just have to look.

Its funny how you see the BBB logo thrown around on the net, but I know from experience that the BBB isn’t all that it is cracked up to be either. I used to own a company, a small one of about 25 employees, I was a member of the local BBB. My local BBB ended up going bankrupt!

As for these “scams”, I haven’t found a single on-line opportunity that isn’t some sort of investment gimmick, tell me how much I can only if I pay for the service. I usually tell them if you are making so much money, front me the sign up fee and I will pay it back when I make loads and of money from your opportunity..!

My personal favorite are all these sites that talk about selling products, but when you go there you see some guy sitting on the beach with a big fancy boat in the background and nowhere on the site does it say what you are going to be selling!

Thanks for the tip that there are legit rebate processing jobs out there. My question is how did you get companies to contract out to you? I agree it’s misleading. I just signed up with Angela Peabrook and have been reading the material down loaded on how to write ads. I did not sign up for writing ads. I paid to learn how to “process rebates and earn $15 per rebate”. It’s deceving when you pay and it’s not what you purchase. I am so glad that I found this site> I now know why my emails have not been returned in reference to questions on “rebate processing”.

rebate processing job is scam. i remember i check the website and in the bottom they put their physical address: because i know where the address so i check myself. I found out that someone using other people address. they(this scam people) prefer people pay with their credit card so the money could go straight to their checking account. all they want just our money…….their is no job…their is no office….just our money….that’s it.

Delmy

February 28, 2008

I don’t understand… If someone uses my credit card is called fraud but if I purchase something they are offering beleiving is what they say and I get something totally different from what I intended to buy, isn’t this consider fraud too?

There is a problem with the laws and the internet, as long as you lie over the internet is acceptable, I went to the police department here in my town and they said that there is nothing they can do about it you just have to be careful and not to give your info away. HONESTLY THIS IS BULLSHIT.
I guess we can all get togheter come up with a site lie to everyone like the so called Angel and collect 20 bucks from people if we found a lot a suckers like us…damn we are going to be rich in a short period of time.

God Bless Our Country.

There are legitimate work at home jobs out there. If you’re interested in data entry DON’T GOOGLE THAT TERM!! You’ll get 1001 scams. Try searching for telecommuting, transcription, freelance, proofreading or virtual assitant. Try http://www.pcworkathome.net/transcriptionjob.html or http://www.workfromhomeguide.net/transcription_jobs.html they both have an extensive list of companies hiring online to choose from. Alternatively a UK site http://www.venables.co.uk/transcription.htm has job listings too.

There are other options as well. Become an affiliate (at no cost to you period!) for Clickbank, Commission Junction or Paydotcom.com, or similar company, and advertise for them. Check them out though, because this is the type of work you pay those scammers for info on. If you have a Myspace page or even your own website, advertisising is a cinch. You could even use free safelists for emailing advertising to opt-in members. Use pay per click advertising too. It’s relatively inexpensive or free if it’s an opt-in site.

Boy I hope those links posted (god bless you moderator). If not I’m truly sorry. E-mail me at rachrach@wideopenwest.com if you want info. I’ll share what I know. This is the type of information scammers try to charge for. It’s a shame because it is out there and it is 100% free!!!

If any of this info helps anybody please give me a Hell Yeah! God knows I have spent enough time researching all of this info so I really do hope it benefits someone.

ds

February 29, 2008

its a scam. they post a sample process and in reality there is nothing like that when you buy it. so saying a scam is paying for nothing and its not a scam because you get something is not true . if i pay to get an apple and i get an orange how is that good, especially if i can’t eat oranges

How did you do this ligitimately as a contractor from home?

Process at Home (processathome.com) by Angel Stevens (aka. Angela Penbrook and who knows how many other names) is a relatively new work from home solicitation. She claims that her company can set you up with a job getting paid top dollar to simply process rebates at home. This program sounds like a real job, but unfortunately just like with the majority of data entry programs this one’s all smoke and mirrors. After you sign up for $197 you won’t get access to a list of companies in need of home workers. Process at Home is nothing more than a clever twist on what the data entry programs have been doing for years. Processathome.com simply tells you to start marketing digital products online and offer a rebate on them. So basically, you’re not paying for a job but for a sales strategy that can be applied to affiliate marketing. It is possible to make money with this method but it requires money to invest as you will be paying close to one dollar every time somebody clicks on your advertisement. Within one day this can quickly add up to you spending $40 – $60 if you don’t know what you’re doing. I wouldn’t call Process at Home a scam, but their advertising is grossly misleading. Yes it’s true that you’ll be "Processing Rebates" but that’s only after you have spent money on advertising, referred a sale, and avoided a refund. I work online with a method where you can make decent money for a couple hours of work, whenever you have time. It’s easy and proven. Check out this link if you’re interested. http://www.projectpayday.com

Roseann,
Yes, I also paid $197.00. to Angel Peabrook. After a week
reading all the information downloaded, I realized there
was nothing on teaching you to be a “rebate processor”. I stll continued to set up “click Bank” account, but I than realized that one needs to sale the ads and offer the rebates ourselves. I email the company including Angela’s
private “email” No response. I got a notice from the post office sending back the email. I have now contacted AMX
to get my money back. I am not going to take a chance
with this company they might be gone tomorrow. By the way,
I was supposed to get my next lesson downloaded on March 2
I have nothing. Maybe thats why they give you a 3 mont
money back, they keep you waiting for the “modules” to be downloaded and thats their way of buying time. The lessons are for seven weeks. That almost two months, so by the time you realized what happened you can’t get your money back. Smart arent they?

Ambersmom

March 4, 2008

What about the website myrebateprocessor.com? They say they have contact info for stores like home depot and that they gaurantee you will be able to find a company to work for or you get your money back. I am trying to find something for my sister to do while she is at home because she has two kids that demand a lot of her time. I need to help her find the easiest online job to do that does not require selling and has flexible hours so she can fit it around the demands of motherhood. Has anyone ever heard of Angela Penbrook? Is this one of the rare “genuine articles” or have you heard of “disatisfied customers”?

Sincerely,
Ambers Mom

March 5, 2008

I received another email from Penbrook yesterday. I find it amusing that EVERYTIME I click on the link I immediately see a text box reading "Sorry Folks, This may be our last day! Filling fast!" and a picture of a clock counting down, trying to pressure people into making a quick decision. Anytime someone tries to hardsell you like that, run the other direction!

Someone had a question about Project Payday. I signed up for it. It did require a small (2 digit) investment, but I have already tripled my money back. In fact it’s the first thing, out of many that I have tried on the internet, that I’ve ended up in the black on. No get rich quick promises. Just decent extra cash in your pocket for very little effort. If your interested click here: http://www.projectpayday.com/

JT

March 9, 2008

I tried “Project Payday” and you know what? It actually can make you money, but unfortunately everything I made went back into it while trying out those products. I lost more money than I made cause everytime I tried to cancel before the free time ran out I got the run around and still lost my money. Also, you can only try one of the ads for free once so you can’t do it again for someone else wanting to pay you to try out an ad. And I don’t have the money to pay 10 to 15 dollars per 5 or so people for me to make money off of. That probably made no sense. LOL!

Rick

March 9, 2008

you are not processing rebates. You are selling a product generatig rebates. Their ad is completely misleading, dishonest in what you are actually doing and charging you 197 dollars. Not telling you what you are actually doing till they get your money. In my book is a SCAM, thank you very much, but no thanks

March 9, 2008

This is all really very sad. I am a daycare provider and I love my job because I am able to stay at home with my two kids. But this line of work does’t pay all that well. To make ends meet I have had to work as waitress in the evenings and be away from my husband. This Angel Stevens woman claims to have come from rags to riches and got her and her kids out of the slums. Why would she want to scam so many people to maybe be sending them part of there morgage to start this scam of a program. Thank you all so much for your insight I was diffently sucked in and was ready to send her my money.

Scott

March 10, 2008

Star, I thought I was clear in my previous post.Yes, I do get a referral fee for Project Payday, but hardly enough to bother promoting it. Everyone have a wonderful and productive week!

March 10, 2008

Anything that involves dishonesty, in my opinion is a scam. Far as I am concerned, if you have to mislead people to make money, you are a con. You can just tell its not legite by the way they tell you how easy it is. If you have to avoid the “truth” of how the system works to get people to buy your program, you are conning them. Personally, I prefer to make an honest living and thats what most of us do, because we have morals and standards of truth that we live by. Only my opinion, as I know there are plenty of shysters out there who could care less.

Honestly, I didn’t know what the heck was rebate processing. I looked into The Angela Penbrook thing and I immediately knew it was a scam. First folks, do not be lured with the inviting salary. It clouds your mind. Usually, if people need employees to work for them the ad would be qualifications and requirements and what kind of job you are supposed to do. But still be careful as the internet is the easiest way to connect with people and mislead them. Secondly, they give you shady instructions. In the real world of work, you need to show up in the office, be tested for the job and interviewed. This is very traditional but probably the surest thing. Third, read everything first, right down to the bottom of their ad, the catch is usually there or sometimes in between the lines. And do your research. It also wouldn’t hurt if you kept a very skeptikal outlook on ads like this. You learn to reason out with it. So, Kudos to this blog!!!

In searching Google for Angela Penbrook, I came across this blog. Top work from home is the blog site, right? It seems there are posts here telling people not to go for Angela Penbrook or Angel Steven or a number of others. The posters then direct us to their own sites that seem to be the exact same offerings. Am I mistaken? When I Google these “preferred” names of people who are “real”, I then get others saying to not trust them.

Is this blog to weed out the scammers or to promote legit work at home opps?

I am a distributor for a line of wellness products and thought I could find something which would bring in another stream of income.

If anyone truly has something reputable that provides direct info on home work income rather than becoming another link in the chain of affiliates, please contact me: yruohk@aol.com

Even if you buy the idea that the concept is just “misexplained” the other problem is there is MUCH better affiliate marketing training elsewhere that goes way beyond what these rebate processor programs will teach you.

I’ve been slammed with questions from people who bought into these rebate processor jobs wanting to know how to get a refund, so i put up the instructions here:

I’d like to know What the Heck Happened to HONESTY in Advertising?? Or HONESTY AT ALL?? Isnt Russia the Country that lives on lies?
Well anyway, I mean when someone/Anyone can advertise without being CLEAR about what they are Selling/Marketing isnt that DIShonest? but no penalty because it’s just ACCEPTED and “Marketing”.
Or maybe our society doesnt need honesty anymore?
Do we really need to look to society to see ourselves?
Or should we look to see it the other way around?
Thanx for letting us know this info…

Has anyone ever got caught up with keystrokes.com? It’s tied into paydot.com and they ask for your social…keystrokes seemed legit, not really sure. I couldn’t find any negative stuff on them and I have been looking for work with no luck…tough situations, maybe I lost my mind. Anyway, paydot.com is tied into paypal, but paypal has no knowledge about them and the paydot.com is all messed up. Links are all outdated and now they have my social…a moment of insanity I’m afraid. I was hoping someone had some insight on these 2 companies. I have 2 college degrees and one is in marketing, can’t believe I resolved to this…moment of desperation.

Hi everyone! I’m glad I read all of your posts before I got scammed by Angela whoever! The program sounded really good, but I’ve been scammed before and decided to do some research first. I haven’t had a full time “regular” job for a few months now due to a knee injury, and I’ve been looking for something I could do from home to supplement my unemployment and for when that runs out so I can stay home with my kids. I’ve tried lots of different “scams” and was really mad when I realized you can get a click bank account for free and I paid 40 bucks to learn that!!

I’ve read a lot of you still looking for something you can do to supplement your income. If you are interested in FREE information about a business opportunity that my boyfriend and I have been apart of for the past 7 months, please email me and I will send you my phone number and a link to the video so you can actually talk to me and start getting some info. Information is always free and I am willing to share this program with you because I know exactly how you all feel. I still feel that way!

Thanks, I did read that web link, prior. But I actually am more interested in info on paydot.com. Does anyone out there have any knowledge about this website. It’s similar clickbank (paypal is very much aware of clickband, but has no knowledge of paydot)…but as I said, they ask for your social…Links on paydot.com are all outdated and now they have my social, so needless to say, I’m a little worried, especially reading similar complaints on the net. Keystrokes.com instruct you to set up an account with paydot.com, and after I did this, I realized the links weren’t working and submitted a complaint. I still haven’t heard anything. So, I am wondering if anyone knows anything about this whole chain…keystrokes ties into paydot and paydot ties to your paypal account…not getting responses from 2 cimpanies: keystrokes and a company who has my social (paydot) and paydot has access to Paypal is not a very secure feeling. With that said, I’m not only warning others to be careful, but I am looking for additional information, since this just happened to me. Thanks all!

Has anyone paid the $197 for angela penbrook and wanted to get the refund and cancel and actually got their money back? If so how did you go about doing it? They hae the number on the website to called but no one ever answers and you get disconnected. Was a big scam but I fell into and want to know if I am able to get my money back and how anyone got it back if they did? Thanks…

Technically, shouldn’t you be required to have a State reseller’s license to even do this? In CA you’re supposed to apply for a reseller license to sell goods and services.

And on that note, if you’re reselling goods, shouldn’t state & local tax rules apply?
Because if the taxes on the goods aren’t being paid by anyone when they should be, wouldn’t that constitute a form of tax fraud?

I paid $197.00 for Angel Stevens program and they were trying to get almost $10,000 more.
All I can say is SCAM, SCAM, SCAM<—— Please don’t but it!
i got 2 auto reply emails and a file that wouldn’t open. (And a headache)I tried to call the 800 # 5 seperate times but of course it didnt work. I guess I was a little too desperate. These people can take advantage of the poor, weak, disabled and desparate But the goverment doesnt seem to care.
If You fell victim to this ploy Request a charge back from the credit card company. If you don’t persue it the scammers win. Good Luck to everyone:)

Interestingly enough, I came across the $197 Angel Stevens B.S. through siteReviewAuthority.org. Another crap website that tells you what few companies aren’t scams…haha…They’re just as bad as that Angel b****! They convienently leave out what you actually have to do. I found myself sitting at my computer and drooling on the keyboard over this one. They almost sucked me in! I’m glad I decided to google “rebate processor” and came across this website =) wheeew…

Has anyone heard of or dealt with the company Virtual Typing USA? I got an email about this data entry job entering addresses to submit for payment. I didn’t see any scams reported about it. I wanted to check it out before I paid the start-up fee of $29.99. Any thoughts out there?

I almost got scammed too, only her name is now Angela Penbrook, I was ready to give her my $197.00 but decided to do more research and found this post. Thank god, I am broke enough with out some B__ch stealing my money. My question is if all these big companys need so much help processing rebates then why don’t they advertise for at home processors themselves? If the job is ligit then I would go to the big company website directly and check if this is even a legitimate line of work. It all sounds like BS to me, I guess I’ll hit the job hunt the old fasioned way and go fill out an actual application and get a real job.

Beverly

March 28, 2008

I agree with you James – it is very misleading. When you are told you will get a list and all you have to do is fill out the form and you will be paid for sending the form at $15.00 a pop; that is misleading and downright stealing the money out of your pocket.

Hello, just thought I would throw this out there. I came across process Rebates for Cash about 2 months ago. I looked around for reviews on them. There were only good reviews. I checked the BBB and they had 0 complaints in the last 36 months. I decided to contact the owner. She was very nice and quick to reply. I signed up soon after. Only $29.97, cheap I thought. It is the best thing I ever did. There are thousands of rebates daily to pay you. Good luck and STAY away from Angela Penbrook, she took me for $197! Never saw it again.

Why can’t these “work at home” jobs indicate EXACTLY what the job intails right from the start? Thats is why many people who inquire come to the conclusion that it must be a scam. “if it’s too good to be true……

I also would like to know about this “legit” rebate processing. I have heard so many negative things about doing it and fortunately, I have never paid for any of them…just learned before hand through others. Sounds so easy doesen’t it. Its a bit like a fish seeing a nice worm in the water and thinking hmm food,, a bite, then a tug and its game over.

I have recieved several emails from both Angel and now Angela Penbrook. I read them and laugh.

This is the actual reality of this scheme and any other so called Get Rich Quick Scam.

If its so good then why is not the entire country working at this?

Another reasonable question is Most of us know people with computers, Why don’t we actually know any rebate processors ourselves?

Pity one of the major TV stations can’t do one of their investigations on this as it seems to be affecting lots of people.

Lastly in a world of 1,000,000, – 1 chances of getting rich quick Have a game on the lottery, ok chances are good you will lose and get nothing but at least its better than losing $197 in one swoop and getting nothing back for that either.

Alice Garrigues

April 15, 2008

I find that it helps if you look for how the money is made. Why would a company pay $15 for one of us to send their customer $8? The company would be loosing a great deal of money that way! It doesn’t make good business sense, so you google it and find blogs like this to help you decide.

Project Payday is a situation where you sign yourself up for trials, products, and services (coffee of the month clubs and such) and based on what you choose, you get a reward for signing up for a certain number of services or getting others to sign up for them.

In regards to the question Kasi asked: I was able to get my money back from the Angela Penbrook Scam. Fortunately, after I did some extensive research about her website on a few different web pages that are dedicated to stopping online scamers,(my favorite was Ive tried that.com) I decided to check my bank account and it showed that the charge was still pending, which meant that the money hadn’t been processed yet! Whew! I immediately put a stop payment on the charge! I only lost a fraction of it from the bank fees, but boy was I ever thankful it didn’t go through! The only thing I can suggest is to check out: http://www.ivetriedthat.com/2008/03/13/angela-penbrook-angel-stevens-a-scam-by-any-other-name/

Scams are abundant online. This is why it is so necessary to do your due diligence; especially for those so-called businesses requiring you to put up money first.

Here is some information I found from an article on the internet about scamming and how to avoid falling victim.

Scammers are successful because:

Scamming is really based on psychology. Besides the “make fast money” dream that many internet new-comers fall victim to, scammers use the following groups of people:

– The sick, disabled, elderly, all of whom may have problems finding traditional jobs.
– The stay-at-home mom. Whether you have a spouse or you are single, you may be looking to supplement or create additional income while raising children.
– The low-income or no-income family. You or your spouse may have lost a job and you feel anxious or desperate to find work as bills are piling up.
– The person without higher education. It is not because you are dumb or stupid. You just didn’t go on to college or a university.

To summarize, scammers primarily prey upon the sick, disabled, elderly, parents, and people without money.

Con artists pitching work-from-home opportunities rake in billions of dollars a year. They use appealing but unrealistic messages to lure people into parting with their hard-earned cash. Remember, knowledge is power. Be sure to get all of the facts and information before moving forward with any work from home opportunities.

Tal Figehl

April 24, 2008

Chris,

Nice looking blog site and a very informative article to those who think that this opportunity is a scam. I totally agree with you when you say that this program is not a scam because they really give you all the info that you need to make money online.

Other programs, they just take your money and hit the road.

I read Angel Stevens promotion ad today and don’t believe.

1) $225 an hour job with no skill set, that’s more than doctor lawyer banker will make an hour after graduation. co. pay so much should have no problem finding one, I bet they’ll get >>1000 responses for 1 position.

2) 2 spots left in my area, 9 positions left, a few moments later same person online say 10 positions. half a day later, there are still there. $225 an hour easy job can’t be filled in this high unemployment forclosure recession time, joke!

3) I request to use $197 1st pay to pay for this program which can happen next hour. they refuse but just want pay unfront. all real jobs in the world is not like that. co. spend money to find candidates, pay salary during probabtion period, and free on job training. so if they even refuse my work to cover their cost, it does sound fishy.

I never go further to sign up. no one should.

I’m trying to approach to co. directly.

BBB.

NEVER TRUST THAT EITHER.

i had a rip off from a BBB member. i complained, they did search and moved on, but ask for more donation since they’re non-for-profit.

while BBB member pays a fee for advertising. so you figure out who they hide/”protect’, the member who pays them, not the victim who ask them to investigate for free.

I knew “rebate processor” was full of shit. It doesn’t even sound right, why not pay people to process rebates when it’s so fast and easy? I’d rather pay someone by the hour rather than pay them $15 her rebate. And how could a company pay you more than the rebate was? They really would start to feel their profits diminishing. If this were real, everyone would work from home. It says “Rebate Processor”, not sell our products and make money off the rebate.

April 30, 2008

yes I paid the $197.00 a month ago and I am still waiting to see what to do. I had one person call me and that took half a month before they got to me and it was they wanted me to invest $10,000 or $20,000 dollars to make a web on line to make money. As far as the processing rebates they tell me that it takes 7 weeks of training and I have been waiting now for a month sence I paid and have had only one weeks training all in my email and I don’t understand all of it. So I have been asking for my card to be refunded now for over 2 weeks, but nothing is happening yet. So be carefull.

Peter

April 30, 2008

ProperDoc – I think you have it backwards – the program teaches you how to sell an item that gives you a commission of $23 per sale and then you offer a rebate to the person who bought it off you for $8 and then you make a profit of $15.

The way I see this is you purchase a education program to learn how to do this. I don’t see this as a job or a scam but more of a “how to” program. It is up to me to put what I learn into action.

Carlos

May 6, 2008

I don’t trust this already. From the get-go they are withholding information about what you will be doing to make money from the products.

I’ve been using Profitlance1.com for over a year now with some good honest success. I’d rather do a little more research and find someone reputable than going with a shady advertisement that uses e-mail blasting to get its customers.

I was trying to find out info about one of these *offers* I got in email about rebate processing… even the web page for it makes it sound like you are simply processing rebates for legitimate companies.. they mention Home Depot, HP, and others… but I wondered how the heck you could get all the info to “process” this online since rebates from stores like those require forms with receipts and UPCs. When I got to the end and saw they wanted to charge me $197 for this *info* of a list of *rebate companies* that would *hire me instantly* well of course the bells went off and I did a search and found out what it REALLY is. No thanks. It’s a sales job. And a snow job.

Jeff W

May 11, 2008

If you goto http://www.directory.reference.com which is formally websters.com and type scam into the search box at the top right. The results are…

scammed, scam·ming.
–noun
1. a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, esp. for making a quick profit; swindle.

–verb (used with object)
2. to cheat or defraud with a scam.

Then if you type in swindle you’ll get these results….

–verb (used with object)
1. to cheat (a person, business, etc.) out of money or other assets.

2. to obtain by fraud or deceit.
–verb (used without object) 3. to put forward plausible schemes or use unscrupulous trickery to defraud others; cheat.
–noun 4. an act of swindling or a fraudulent transaction or scheme.
5. anything deceptive; a fraud: This advertisement is a real swindle.

So you be the judge. Seems to me that an advertisement that doesn’t provide full disclosure and/or mis-leads people to get their money falls under, in my opinion, the catagory of a scam.

If someone thinks that a misleading advertisment shouldn’t be deemed a scam, just because it has some money making potental. I guess that’s there right to their opinion.

But for me and probably many others, misleading advertisments that deceive us into thinking something is different from what it really is. Is a scam.

The key thing of why most charge a fee is because they spent a bunch of time and money making it there on there own and most want a reward for sending you on the fast track.
The number one reason the pay is good is that you are not formally hired by them so they can increase or decrease the amount of money you get for doing the work and don’t have to go up with inflation. Since your not officially hired by them you don’t get a workers union and all the rights and privileges required by law for working American citizens. There for you can be dropped from the workforce at any point in time with no excuse.
But they want to keep you happy so they are happy, so this is a safe route but like in life always have a plan B and sometimes C.

Do you,
Work to live or
Live to work
and why?

The web site says will refund 100% of your money with in three months if you are not satisfied. If you do a Angel Stevens video search the video says you will not receive your money back. I hate to post this but my mother in law bought one of those programs for me since I have been out of work for awhile. I didn’t want her to do it but she did anyway. The ad is misleading and several other sites make the same comment. Do not listen to people who trash it and then go to program X. They are doing a bait and switch based on frustation. I have done a few pay for survey sites but I only get a very small amount for it. You can find all of the sites yourself without paying for it.

Thanks for the postings on this, I never heard of this type of job, how does the company make money?

My mentor, Stephen Pierce, is giving away his book, “Make Real Money On The Internet,” for free.

I’ve been in his different programs for a few years now and I listen to what he says because he is where I want to be. I wanted to share with you his powerful information that has changed my life.

I’m also including a link to a 60 min audio of a seminar he conducted that will also blow you away.

If you are looking for a quick way to generate money, then maybe these types of jobs are the way to go. But, if you’re looking to have a business that will pay you residually over time, then you need an internet business. With this book and information, you’ll be on your way to creating that with one of the best on the internet.

I know the whole concept sounds “too good to be true” – let’s face it, what mom (or dad) wouldn’t want to do that… However, this “rebate processer” really appealed to me – the concept doesn’t seem so far fetched – the “work from home” concept is really a good one considering the extra costs that companies must pay out to have you commute to their facility… Insurance, benefits, disability, paid leave, etc. etc. So I have to tell you I honestly did believe that reputable companies such as Home Depot, Best Buy, etc. would pay someone to stay home and process their rebates for them. I honestly thought that was the job!!! And seriously, I do consider myself an educated woman with common sense… If I fell for this, then they truly are deceiving the public. Not to mention, the scariest part of all is I was directed to the link by a legit township website I was currently seeking employment with when I clicked on “job opportunites” and clicked on “legitimate work from home opportunities” they convinced me “no start up fees, no selling, no starting your own business” simply work from home and get paid. There was a $49.95 application processing fee. I was actually considering paying the fee. Beware, this website only offered rebate processing as one of the options, others were data entry, and writing small articles/blogs – if you gave them your zip code they told you how many positions for the above where available in your area. They even displayed the Home Depot, Best Buy, and other logos. Too bad the companies these days don’t consider hiring someone from home that is over-qualified to handle these types of jobs. They are really missing out on saving themselves time and money. They could really get some great people that are willing to do work like this just because they can’t take the 12-15 hour long cut throat days in corporate america.

I’m curious, Is there anyone out there that actually paid the $197 then realized what they didn’t include in their intro, “Sells”, and requested their monies back and received it?
By the way, It’s called “Fraud” because it “Baits and Switches you” Tells you one thing and changes it after you pay for the “3 easy steps”. But I’m supposing on the island Cyprus, Fraud’s not illegal.

Concerned Citizen…..I was just informed by my CC company that this company RebateProcessorJobs.com is based out of country in a country that is known for gambling. Luckily my CC company did not let the charge go through.

On another note, and to answer a lot of postings here, LiveOps.com is a great company to work for from home. You sign up, and if your skill set meets what one of their companies want, you only pay for a background check and drug test (usually $50). You take calls for those companies for orders or customer service. I am making $0.20-$0.25 a minute on calls. Not a huge amount but money in my pocket while I am at home.

I think this blog right here is a scam. Sure, you report on other work-at-home scams, but the ones that you recommend are just as bad. Wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Yep. When Google Adwords banned Data Entry “Job” sites and ClickBank Banned them at the same time, the Rebate Processor sites came alive with a fury.

Will be interesting to see if the same fate befalls them as did the original DataEntryPro purveyors.

“The defendants are charged with making false and unsubstantiated earnings claims in violation of the FTC Act. According to the FTC’s complaint, they charged consumers from $47 to $129 to access their “members only” Web sites with their “money-making secrets.” Their advertised programs either did not exist as represented or did not offer quick and easy money with little time or effort as promised.”

You can read the entire Federal Trade Commission News Release here.

It was a 4.9 MILLION dollar judgement, by the way.

The Rebate Processing sites are using similar tactics and marketing techniques as these two that just got hit with that huge judgement so it’s likely only a matter of time.

I looked at the contact information for the site that sells the program for 197. It was located in Cyprus…that made me want to do more research. The woman whose name was Angel was supposed to have been some legendary businesswoman from New York. If thats the case, why wasn’t the support in the US? Maybe because its a lot harder to get a refund when the company is based in a foreign land.

You make a good point. Internet marketing in it’s essence comes down to very basic direct response marketing fundamentals. It’s not overly complicated, and it should be results accountable. Considering what you said in your post I found autopilot pilots very useful in this way. It might be worth a look.

Any job opportunity that requires you to pay money in order to access the job is a scam. The same bodes true for rebate processor jobs. Once someone offers you a job that you have to pay for, do not go after it. It is a scam!

This was a great read and I can say I learned something a bit new.
I’ll be looking more into it. Thanks

I have spent a lot of time online doing research and trying to come up with a strategy that is similar to some of the programs that have been mentioned above. Fortunately, my expectations are much lower than the thousands of dollars that the scammers promise, and I’m not looking to get rich quick, so I have avoided falling into any money traps. However my progress on this project has sort of stalled.

Since I am a firm believer that there is some truth hidden within the scams, I’d be very interested in getting in contact with some of you that have been scammed via email. If you are unfortunate enough to not have gotten you’re money refunded to you for any of the “training material” you’ve ordered, maybe we can recycle that information and come up with program that might at least help you recoup some of your losses.

Just visit my newly created blog and I have a “contact me” link in the sidebar.

Thanks,
D.C.

Seems to me that this is just another online area that is full of pretty scammy stuff of little or no value to most people. When will people work out that the days of get rich quick are long and gone and the net is now dominated by professional purse openers with no morals whatsoever. Just my point of view.
