The most common question I have received regarding working from home has to do around online scams and how to avoid becoming a victim of a scam artist.

Well I have to admit I have been one of those victims a few too many times.  In fact just this year I was a victim again.

I was promoting a product that sold like it was going out of style.  It was a great product (and still is) and I spent a ton of money on promoting it and was making a great return on my investment. Things were going great for almost 2 years.

Then all of a sudden the owner decided to disappear. He stopped returning my calls and emails and all of a sudden my commission checks stopped coming.

This scumbag owes me thousands of dollars and because of him I had to take out a line of credit just to pay my bills.
