thanks Martin – I agree. I wish the advertising was more toned down so that the expectations of people was not so high and the reputation of MLM and network marketing was not where it is. But then I guess that is the reality of advertising – it doesn’t work if the ads say “come and work hard, and you will earn some money” It sounds much better and apealing when it says “make tons of money with no work”

An excellent article and absolutely in tune with a recent article I wrote in my blog. It’s a shame that the MLM and network marketing industries have this reputation but they brought it on themselves with the ridiculous claims and promises that are made in the promotion of these businesses. There are, as you say, a good number of good MLM and Network Marketing businesses out there offering real value!
